A new giving initiative rooted in the Buddhist practice of dana, or cultivating generosity from the heart
THE DANA FUND embodies this heart-filled spirit, opening the doors of Middle Way School to children from all backgrounds through need-based tuition assistance. This will support access to education rooted in generosity, equity, and community care.
Middle Way School’s fundamental mission is cultivating wisdom and compassion in the next generation. We believe strongly that path should be open to every child, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. This new initiative will help us more fully embody our values.
Through May 1, 2026,
every donation to the Dana Fund will be
matched dollar-for-dollar until we
reach our $50,000 goal.

Our full cost of tuition in the 2025–2026 school year is $22,400. Sixty-two percent of our students benefit from need-based financial assistance or discounted tuition support.
This support allows us to serve families across a wide range of economic circumstances, strengthening both our school and the broader educational landscape. Together with our sister schools in Asia, we’re building a global movement that infuses modern education with timeless Buddhist wisdom—and we need partners like you to help this model grow.
