Dondre Francis is a classroom assistant, supporting teachers across all classrooms. He also greets children in the morning, leads morning exercise, spends lunchtime with them, and is out at our various recesses. Dondre graduated from Saugerties High School and is a recent graduate of SUNY Ulster Community College with an Associate Degree in Human Services. He loves basketball and played for the Senators while attending SUNY Ulster. He lights up the room with his positive energy and we feel very lucky to have him on staff.
“When I’m not playing basketball or engaged in other local activities, I enjoy supporting student success inside and outside of the classroom. I’ve been working with the kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Saugerties for a year now. I am committed to educating students, colleagues, families, and the community by establishing strong connections. I enjoy traveling and spending a lot of time with my family.”
