Sonam Tenzing worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bhutan and as a consultant to development agencies based in the kingdom. He studied at Sherubtse College in Kanglung, Bhutan and Otaru University and Hokkaido University in Japan. He lives in New York with his wife Choing and their son Magada. He is a founding member of the MWS Board of Trustees.
