Brittany Cattaruzza
Interim Administrative Coordinator
We’re pleased to welcome Brittany Cattaruzza as interim Administrative Coordinator, offering daily support in the Welcome Center. Her cheerful energy with children and her experience with caregiver communication offer a great enhancement to our school community.
I’ve had the joy of wearing many hats in my life, but one thing has always remained constant—caring for, teaching, and supporting children.
I graduated from Wagner College with a degree in Theatre & Speech and spent nearly a decade performing professionally as an actor and dancer. During my time on stage, I always found myself returning to roles in childcare and teaching dance and gymnastics. These jobs brought me so much happiness between my performing gigs.
When I decided it was time to hang up my tap shoes, I found my next home at 92NY. There, I taught gymnastics for the Nursery School and worked in the Athletics Department as an Administrative Specialist. Over the course of five wonderful years, I built out their private classes, organized community events, and helped to develop and supervise a summer camp experience for three- to five-year-olds. It was during this time that I became passionate about family and caregiver communication and building strong administrative systems and procedures.
I recently moved from Astoria, Queens to Kingston, NY, where I live with my husband and two well loved and endlessly hungry guinea pigs.
I’m so excited to join the Middle Way School community as the leave replacement for the Administrative Coordinator role, and I can’t wait to meet you and your children soon!
