Alice joined Middle Way School in 2023-2024, and as soon as we met her, we knew she was going to be a great addition to the team. Alice plays a vital role as support staff for the administrative team, holding down the fort at the Welcome Center while supporting teacher, students, and parent needs throughout the day. As Administrative Coordinator, she brings a special mix of experience with a range of organizations, all seen through a creative lens. We’re grateful to have her many talents on our team. 

I grew up in New Hampshire and hold a BA in Gender Studies and Italian. I studied art at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, and have worked with children in after school programs at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. I’ve worked in administration for several years in New York City, at a dance organization and most recently at a lighting restoration studio.

I moved to the Hudson Valley to complete an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance, and worked as an apprentice electrician prior to joining MWS. My experience in administrative roles, my interest in Buddhism, and the joy I find in working with children all drew me to the Middle Way School. I’m delighted to join MWS and support the administrative team in carrying out the school’s mission.
